What Makeasite Is

Makeasite is high-end freelance engineering and architecture. Think of it as having a principal engineer or CTO-level consultant on your team, but without the overhead of a full-time hire or the bureaucracy of an agency.

I work directly with founders, CTOs, and technical leaders who need systems designed, secured, and scaled—not just code written.

What Makeasite Is NOT

Makeasite is not a generic agency. I don't have a team of junior developers ready to churn out features. I'm not here to take over your development entirely or become a managed service provider.

Makeasite is not cheap outsourcing. If you're looking for the lowest bidder or someone to implement specs without question, you're in the wrong place. I challenge assumptions, ask hard questions, and design solutions—not just execute tasks.

Core Philosophy

Security-first: Every system starts with security by design. Not bolted on later, not tested for vulnerabilities after the fact. Built in from day one.

Architecture-driven: Code follows architecture, not the other way around. I design systems that survive real-world pressure, scale gracefully, and integrate seamlessly.

Language-agnostic: I don't care if it's PHP, Python, Java, C++, or something else. Good architecture transcends implementation languages. I choose the right tool for the job.

Why Makeasite Exists

After 15+ years building and scaling systems—from single servers to distributed architectures, from monoliths to microservices—I've seen what works and what doesn't. Too many projects fail because they prioritize speed over architecture, features over security, and quick wins over long-term sustainability.

Makeasite exists to help technical leaders build systems that last. Systems that scale. Systems that don't become technical debt nightmares.
